COVID-19 Pushes ICM-sponsored Chestertons Polo to 2021

London, UK – Monday, July 13, 2020: – A regular feature in the ICM sponsorship calendar, Chestertons Polo in the Park 2020 has been postponed to next year in the wake of the prevailing pandemic. The British Polo event was initially scheduled for the month of June this year, but taking into account the deteriorating global health crisis, the organisers have decided to postpone the event keeping in mind the safety of the players and visitors alike.

With regards to the long-standing partnership with British Polo, ICM is dedicated to its commitment to sponsor the event for the 5th year in a row. Addressing the importance of this sponsorship, Shoaib Abedi, CEO, and Founder of ICM, states that:

“Chestertons Polo is a prestigious event in the British Polo calendar, and we are proud sponsors of the British Polo team; however, unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the event has to be postponed to a later date as a precautionary measure. Nevertheless, we will continue to sponsor the event as and when it is scheduled for next year.”
