PR Manager (MENA)

Job Description: PR Manager
Location: MENA

About the Role

The Public Relations Manager will focus on external communication supporting ICM Capital's wide portfolio of products - Forex, Commodities and CFDs. This candidate will essentially be responsible for PR for the entire set of communications with local UK media.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with financial media bodies including Sky, BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, Bloomberg, Dow Jones, The Associated Press, Press Association and London papers including: City A.M., Evening Standard, Metro. They will know how to develop creative approaches around ICM Capital's products, and will be able to secure meaningful consumer media placements that motivate people to trade with ICM Capital. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, pitching, and relationship-building skills. Collaboration is key as this role requires interaction with several Board level executives, marketing team members, and other cross-functional partners.

Daily Tasks

  • Building relationships with key press channels including television, newspapers, magazines and websites
  • Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
  • Organising interviews and managing press related events with press and ICM Capital spokespeople
  • Liaising with and answering enquiries from the press
  • Briefing media outlets about ICM Capital on a regular basis and inviting media for face-to-face meetings
  • Plan and direct public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favourable public image for ICM Capital
  • Collating and analysing media coverage as well as compiling reports of what has been published
  • Identify different media channels and determine the best way to communicate information to them

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Public relations, communications or journalism
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a public relations position
  • PR agency experience; in-house corporate communication experience is a plus
  • Media trained
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptionally strong writing skills
  • Collaborative work style and used to working in a team-oriented environment

Online Marketing Executive (MENA)

Job Description: Online Marketing Executive (MENA Region)
Location: Egypt

The Online Marketing Executive is a highly dynamic individual who has in-depth understanding of online and social media marketing as well as knowledge of factors that influence consumer conversions within the MENA region.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Creates and monitors online and social media marketing campaigns
  • Confidently writes, edits and proof reads web copy in Arabic and English
  • Maintaining social media updates across multiple channels
  • Liaise with new and existing clients to establish a long-term relationship, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
  • Enhances engagement; encourages online community sign ups and website visits through creative use of content
  • Understands all aspects of online marketing including online strategy and branding
  • Excellent knowledge of digital trends, innovations and user experiences
  • First-rate work knowledge of Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media platforms
  • Work knowledge of database marketing and PPC campaigns
  • Fluent in optimisation techniques, applications and best practise
  • Ability to absorb online needs from different departments, reflecting them in an online environment in a cohesive, 'on brand' way
  • Monitor online competitor presences/perceptions
  • Research new blogs and channels for relevance and trend identification
  • Propose new internet marketing strategies
  • Regularly provide feedback on insights gained from social media monitoring to the Marketing Manager

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High standard of written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Ability to translation from English to Arabic and visa versa
  • Experience in managing social media projects and online advertising campaigns

Business Development Manager (MENA)

Job Description: Business Development Manager (MENA region)
Location: Dubai

Senior member of Business development department providing ongoing support and valuable sales and trading knowledge to junior members of the team whilst maintaining and generating own business opportunities and exceeding set individual and team targets

Role:

  • Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring and motivating team members
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the BDEs
  • Conducts one-on-one review with all BDEs to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of BDEs sales and activity performance
  • Ensures that all BDEs meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of BDEs and evaluate their overall performance including the use of salesforce system and adherence to compliance procedures
  • Sets examples for BDEs in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing market activities, and competitors
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
  • Meet and exceed individual and team monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Coordinate with operations manager to facilitate and improve salesforce system to ensure all sales opportunities are utilised and maximum results achieved
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the FX markets and margin FX trading platforms is essential
  • Polished presentation and phone communication
  • Adept in negotiating at executive corporate level to achieve set objectives
  • Ability to swiftly identify opportunities and professionally manage and guide the end to end sales process
  • Ability to ask probing questions to understand the needs of a prospect with the skill to appropriately suggest dynamic solutions
  • High degree of professionalism, with a confident, assertive style
  • Highly motivated with an exceptionally strong desire and drive to succeed
  • Proven sales track record with the ability to meet and exceed targets

Generate business opportunities by identifying the needs of prospect client and evaluating their position in the industry.
